Last Friday, June 5, on the occasion of World Environment Day, the Garnelo Theater of Montilla hosted a day focused on reflection and dialogue on current environmental challenges, organized by the Somos Naturaleza Foundation together with the City Council of Montilla.
This initiative is part of the Foundation’s work to promote environmental awareness, citizen participation and climate action in rural areas, a mission that Rioma continuously supports as part of its commitment to sustainable development and social contribution.
The day began with a welcome drink and a photocall that served as a meeting point for the reception of the attendees. This was followed by a screening of the first episode of the docuseries HOPE! We are on time a proposal that offers a constructive vision of the climate crisis through real examples of transformation and adaptation that are already yielding results.
After the screening, attendees were able to participate in a discussion with Mariano Baratech, producer of the series and member of Fundación HOPE-Acción Climática. His intervention allowed to deepen the issues addressed in the documentary and generated an interesting exchange of ideas and reflections among the participants.
The event highlighted the importance of continuing to promote initiatives that bring sustainability closer to citizens and encourage active participation in building a more environmentally friendly future. The event also demonstrated the value of collaboration between social entities, administrations and companies to promote projects with a positive impact on people and the environment.
For Rioma, supporting the work of the Somos Naturaleza Foundation is part of a vision of sustainability that transcends its own business activity and is committed to contributing to the development of initiatives capable of generating awareness, knowledge and social commitment.
