BUILDING A SUSTAINABLE TEXTILE INDUSTRY

Quality and Sustainability

Rioma strives to ensure that its sustainable textiles are durable and hard-wearing, and that they meet the highest expectations of our customers, both nationally and internationally.

We supervise the quality of our fabrics throughout the entire production chain, exhaustively controlling the operation of weaving equipment, and offering a service of maximumreliability, flexibility and speed.

ISO 9001, 14001 y 14006 (ecodiseño)

All our processes are carried out under the certification of the ISO 9001, 14001 and 14006 (eco-design) quality standards, in addition to the standards of the EFQM European Excellence and Quality model.

Resistant® & Tenacil®

Our upholstery articles are specially manufactured to stand the test of time and to obtain excellent results in abrasion and resistance tests. The use of Microsue® yarns guarantees maximum quality and durability in our upholstery and contract articles, which in some cases exceed 250,000 Martindale cycles. Rioma fabrics also feature the Resistant® stain-resistant treatment for easy daily cleaning and high-end Tenacil® dyes, which offer more intense and long-lasting lightfastness grade 8 colours for outdoor use.

Safe & Clean®

In addition, we have developed a line of products that can be cleaned with diluted bleach for perfect disinfection, the Safe and Clean® line.

environmental protection and sustainability

We understand that a product is of higher quality if it is sustainable. Therefore, we appeal to the responsibility and differentiation of the Rioma brand by including “environmental protection and sustainability” as key variables in the production chain and the quality of the final product we launch on the market.

LOGISTICS

With a permanent stock of more than 4 million metres of fabric, Rioma can serve its customers in less than 72 hours in Spain and within a week in the rest of the world. Our automated traceability system can track the product from origin to delivery of the goods. Rioma also continues to invest in technology to improve logistics processes and shorten service times.

In addition, in its more than 30,000m² of offices, warehouses and production areas, Rioma offers you incredible facilities and great professionals who guarantee a cutting-edge service that is hard to match.

COMMITTED TO THE ENVIRONMENT

We appeal to the responsibility and differentiation of the Rioma brand by including “environmental protection and sustainability” as key variables in the production chain and the quality of the final product we launch on the market.

We pioneered the use of organic pigments 25 years ago and since then we have continued to innovate, both in the marketing of OEKO-TEX certified products, free of substances harmful to health, and in the launch of our first line of ORGANiC fabrics in 2005 under GOTS certification.

Quality & I+D+i

At present, the quality and I+D+I department continues to work along these lines and is immersed in two major projects for the future. One being, the creation of a line of natural dyes of vegetable and mineral origin to reduce our dependence on polluting chemical dyes; and the other, being the launch of a textile range with recycled polyester yarns from marine waste and recycling containers.

This is how we understand innovation in the textile industry, mirroring our efforts to implement the ISO14000 quality standard for eco-design (14006) and sustainable resource management (14001).
