After our participation as exhibitors at the second annual Interwoven event, we take stock of what it means for Rioma to attend this meeting, which brings together leading manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers in the industry, held every year in North Carolina, USA.

Rioma has been represented on this occasion by our colleagues María Jesús Ríos and Javier Bernabéu, who after four days of hard work and continuous meetings and contacts, have been able to reflect and interpret what has interested more of Rioma’s collections to current or potential customers.

According to their findings, the most popular collections in the U.S. market were: plain, textured fabrics and the Naturals collection. As a star product, they highlight the “great acceptance” of the Saima collection, a collection that has, among its many qualities, versatility, as it can be implemented in all types of decorative uses. Because of its texture, it is suitable for upholstery, curtains, cushions and other decorative uses.

At Interwoven Fall 2022, it was clear that the market continues to focus on indoor lines, both in recycled natural fabrics and organic natural fabrics. Outdoor collections are also gaining importance in this latest edition, and customers are demanding fabrics with textures that add personality to the collections.

For Rioma, it is a great motivation to see how our designs and product lines are received, one more edition, in such a positive way by the market, and we congratulate ITA (International Textile Alliance), for its excellent organization, making it one more year a unique meeting for the sector, and reaffirming itself as the most important fair in the USA, Central America and Canada.

Already thinking about Interwoven 2023.
